I am looking at all the reviews and can't believe what I'm seeing. I recently came to Berkley for a visit and was directed to come here for a quick lunch. This shop was really easy to find and there was plenty of street parking too. It was a unique system to order (Kiosk) our food then they delivered it too our table in the out-door seating spot. We did find it a little challaeging to find dry seating and table as it was seriously raining but we did and sat down to wait for our food. They seem to have everything you need to make a good burger or the chicken sandwich my wife had. After a short wait, they delivered our food and drinks. I had a terrific burger and my wife a tasty grilled chicken. Good fries and a bottle of ice tea. We truly enjoyed everything but unfortunately, I found it a bit pricy for the simplicity of the food we had. I am game to try again but will have to make sure that I am ordering the most economical way. KUDOs to the team at Station Burger Berkley

The business seems to be operating under a new name: Cal Dog Beer Garden. All tables are in 2 pleasant dining patios which are covered and dogs are permitted. There was limited staff/service (on a fairly quiet Monday lunch). Ordering is at a single kiosk/touch screen. Food was brought out promptly. Self serve water and basic condiments available.

This place has been around for decades and has been a mainstay for those on their way to the UC Berkeley Campus. They have a variety of hamburgers, chicken burgers, hotdogs and the usual burger fare with several choices of french fries, milkshakes, kombucha, and all the kinds of things you would find in a Berkeley burger establishment. The hamburgers are pretty standard and the garlic fries are great! The location is nice, at the foot of the beautiful Claremont hotel. It's relaxing to sit out on their patio enjoying your lunch.

Despite the low reviews, I actually really liked this place. Super cute ambiance, fire pits and lots of flowers. The staff was very friendly. I got the burger and a cider, the burger was a bit pricey but it's berkeley, what isn't expensive? Definitely coming back here!

After my last experience here a few months ago I had all but vowed to never return, as they had again botched my order. And yet, as I found myself hungry and driving by and saw there was easy parking and no line, I once again succumbed to the convenience of The Station. I was surprised to find the place was still in business. I ordered a Cobb salad. I expected at least one critical ingredient to be missing, such as bacon or avocado, and I was prepared for it to be borderline inedible. However, it was reasonably well executed with seemingly fresh ingredients, and generous in size. I was pleasantly surprised. And it took them "only" 10 minutes to deliver my food. Obviously this does nothing to guarantee your burger will be any good. As always, the ambience was great. They had a basketball game on a big screen TV and even had a fire going on that chili evening. Staff was nice too. Their payment platform was down (shocker) and I didn't have cash so they just gave it to me for free. So, if it's empty and you're a glutton for punishment, it might be worthy of your consideration.
